Mr Daniel is a Colorectal Surgeon. Originally from Tasmania, he graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2006 with First Class Honours and completed his training in General Surgery in Melbourne in 2013.
He subsequently entered four years of advanced training to become a Colorectal Surgeon, a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
He takes a keen role in the training of future surgeons and is the supervisor of junior medical officers in surgery at Northern Health.
