Dr Esra Sanli

Dr Esra Sanli is an Australian trained ophthalmic surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist.

Dr Esra Sanli completed her undergraduate medical degree with Honours at The University of Tasmania. Her specialist ophthalmology training was at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Sanli undertook fellowship training at Cheltenham and Gloucester General Hospital’s in the United Kingdom. During this time she indulged in her interest and passion for eyelid and cataract surgery. This was under the guidance of world-renowned ophthalmic surgeon, Mr Ric Caesar.

Dr Esra Sanli prides herself on providing high quality, evidence based and individualised care to each one of her patients. She holds and appointment as a Staff Specialist at Gold Coast University Hospital. She also consults in Southport and Tweed.
