Dr Esra Sanli

Dr Esra Sanli is an Australian trained, comprehensive general ophthalmologist, who also holds an appointment as a staff specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Dr Sanli completed her undergraduate medical degree with Honours at The University of Tasmania. Her specialist ophthalmology training was at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney.

Dr Sanli undertook fellowship training at Cheltenham and Gloucester General Hospital’s in the United Kingdom. During this time she honed her skills in cataract and eyelid surgery under the guidance of world renowned oculoplastic surgeon, Mr Ric Caesar.

Dr Esra Sanli prides herself on providing high quality, evidence based and individualised care to each one of her patients.
