A/Prof Faruque Riffat

A/Prof Riffat is a consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon with post-FRACS fellowship training in head and neck oncology, paediatric ENT, thyroid/parathyroid surgery and adult airway open/endoscopic laser surgery. 

A/Prof Faruque Riffat has been a consultant at Norwest Private Hospital since 2012. His consulting rooms are located adjacent to Norwest Private Hospital, providing convenience and access for patients.

A/Prof Riffat undertook fellowship training at Westmead, Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore, Liverpool, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the John Hunter Hospital during his NSW otolaryngology training, including 18 months of tertiary paediatric ENT surgery.

After being awarded his FRACS (Oto) in 2010, A/Prof Riffat then furthered his fellowship training in London and Cambridge, focusing on paediatric and adult airway surgery, oncological surgery and thyroid & parathyroid surgery.

A/Prof Riffat manages public patients, adult and children, through Westmead Hospital and the area health service and privately at Norwest Private Hospital.
