Dr Felisa Golingi is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist. Felisa completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours, and Professional Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland in 2010.
Felisa has experience helping clients with mood difficulties, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and providing support in managing and adjusting to challenging life events such as transitioning through changes in life roles, and navigating health difficulties. Felisa utilises an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from a range of evidence based clinical frameworks, and structures treatment based on the individual client's needs and goals.
Felisa utilises mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and Schema therapy (ST) approaches. Felisa assists clients in identifying personal goals in therapy and working towards facilitating positive change and adaptive progression aligned with these goals.
Felisa has experience working within mental health and health settings in both public and private sectors, and individual as well as facilitating group-based therapy in hospital settings.
