Dr Ferris Touma

Dr Touma is a Sydney and Melbourne trained cardiologist. He graduated with honours in both his undergraduate (B.Pharmacy, Hons) and graduate degrees (B.Medicine, B.Surgery, Hons) from the University of Sydney. Dr Touma completed his physicians training in internal medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. After completing his advanced cardiology training in New South Wales, he completed a dedicated advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at the Alfred Hospital, Victoria’s cardiac transplant unit. At the Alfred, he acquired comprehensive training in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and advanced echocardiography. 

Dr Touma is the Director of Physician Education at the Northern Beaches Hospital, where he is directly involved in the training of future physicians. He has an extensive track record in cardiac research and has several peer reviewed publications in both national and international journals. He is passionate about the prevention of heart disease and its early identification.
