Dr Garry Buckland

Dr Garry Buckland is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 28 years’ experience. He is committed to providing high quality, natural looking results with an emphasis on patient comfort, alleviating anxieties and providing support every step of the way.

Dr Garry Buckland is a dual qualified surgeon having completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in both general and plastic surgery.

Garry is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and is actively involved in Australia’s top plastic surgery groups who advocate safe and ethical practice. He is a previous council member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Director of the Australasian Foundation for Plastic Surgery and member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Garry has attended many conferences, both in Australia and overseas as part of his commitment to continued medical education as well as his own professional development. He has spent time in Asia-Pacific with Interplast an Australian charity organisation of plastic surgeons who donate surgical services to developing nations. There he performed cleft palate repairs, and helped upskill local surgeons in reconstructive surgery. Garry is also actively involved in teaching undergraduate medical students and plastic surgeons-in-training.
