Dr Graeme Gonzales

Dr Graeme Gonzales is a senior staff specialist in Neurology, a valued doctor with admitting rights at Ringwood and Knox Private Hospital.

Dr Gonzales graduated from St Vincent’s Clinical School (University of Melbourne) in 1998, completed basic physician training at Austin Health and Advanced training in Neurology in 2006. He taught at the University of Melbourne between basic and advanced phases for one year in clinical medicine.

Dr Gonzales completed a post-training Epilepsy Fellowship under Prof. Mark Cook and Assoc. Prof. Wendyl D’Souza in 2007. He was awarded the Epilepsy Society of Australia Scholarship in 2007 and an NHMRC Postgraduate Medical Scholarship in 2008-9 for doctoral research in epilepsy pharmacology.

Since 2008, Dr Gonzales has been a staff specialist in Neurology at St Vincents Melbourne. He has published in the fields of Stroke and of Epilepsy Research. He has been a senior local examiner for the RACP and for the University of Melbourne in internal medicine as well as teaching at all training levels and has maintained supervision of basic and advanced trainees for the RACP.
