Dr Gregory Stefanou

Dr Greg Stefanou is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and Fellow of the Australian Chapter of Palliative Medicine. He graduated from Monash University Medical School in 1986 and undertook training as a medical oncologist and clinical haematologist in Melbourne at a number of major hospitals, including the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where he was a visiting medical officer in the haematology department for 23 years until the end of 2020.

Dr Stefanou is a sessional visiting medical officer in the haematology department at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He also has an interest in palliative care and works as a palliative care physician at the Bethlehem Hospice where he has developed an interest in neuro-palliation.
