Dr Himanshu Desai

Dr Himanshu Desai is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Dr Desai graduated MBBS from Gujarat University, India in 1979. He obtained MCh in Cardiothoracic Surgery from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1987. He undertook clinical fellowship at the Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, Missouri for two years in 1993. He obtained fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2003.

He has extensive experience in all aspects of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery with a particular interest in aortic surgery. Dr Desai is involved in outreach programmes providing cardiac surgical services to the underprivileged in India.
