Dr Ilina Tzolova

Dr Tzolova has more than 20 years of experience in psychiatry using pharmacological and psychotherapeutic models of treatment. She worked in different settings and cultures (Europe, USA, and Australia) and gained experience in clinical psychiatry, psychotherapy, teaching, and research.

Dr Tzolova obtained her medical degree and specialty in Psychiatry in Bulgaria, attained Fellowship in Australia andundertook training in Brief Psychotherapy (Solution focused and Problem solving), Psychodrama, ACT, and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Dr Tzolova has extensive experience with Inpatient, Outpatient clinics, and Day hospital. During her work at The Johns Hopkins University in USA she was involved in increasing awareness about mental illness and improving services for people with co-morbidity.

Dr Tzolova believes in a holistic and individualised approach and works in collaboration with patients, family and other health specialists.
