Mr Ivan Bhaskar

Mr Ivan Bhaskar is a highly qualified Australian trained Neurosurgeon with a double degree in Neurosurgery and advanced training in Spine Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, actively involved as a Lecturer at Deakin University teaching Medical Students and Neurosurgical Registrars and a Member of Neurosurgical Society of Australasia, and the Neurosurgical Society of India.

After having completed training in one of the best South Asian Neurosurgical Institutes, Ivan worked as a consultant and decided to further train in Australia. Mr Bhaskar has worked at several major Neurosurgical centres in Australia and overseas including St Vincent’s Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Christian Medical Hospital where he has gained valuable experience in all types of brain and spine conditions.

Mr Bhaskar has also completed a Spine Fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital and has become an expert in navigated minimal access spine surgeries and in the management of complex spinal conditions.
