Dr Jeffrey Alison

Dr Jeffrey Alison has particular expertise in all facets of Cardiac Rhythm Management having more than 20 years’ clinical experience in this area (often referred to as “Electrophysiology and Pacing”).

He consults and advises on management of both ambulatory and hospitalised patients with heart rhythm disorders. When required, he performs interventional procedures such as electrophysiology studies, catheter ablation, device therapy with pacemakers and implantable defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure (“biventricular pacing”).

Jeff has been a staff specialist in Cardiology and Electrophysiology within Southern Health since 1992 and an Honorary Specialist in Electrophysiology at Royal Children’s Hospital since 1996.
