Dr Jithin Sajeev is a consultant cardiologist who graduated from medical school at the University of Otago, New Zealand. He moved to Melbourne to undertake his clinical and fellowship training. He works in both public and private practice in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. 

Jithin completed his cardiology training in Melbourne. After being awarded the Fellowship by the Royal Australian College of Physicians, he completed a fellowship in the management of cardiac rhythm abnormalities.  

Jithin continues to be involved in medical research, with numerous peer reviewed publications during the course of his PhD in atrial arrhythmias, myopathy and stroke. Jithin continues to be involved in medical education for junior medical staff and actively supervises higher degree research students in the area of atrial dysfunction. 

He has an established cardiology practice at Vital Heart Care and reviews patients with cardiac arrhythmia, syncope, heart failure and general cardiology. He has regular procedural lists within both public and private hospitals for cardiac rhythm management and advanced device therapy including, pacemakers (traditional and leadless systems), defibrillators (transvenous and subcutaneous), loop recorders and cardiac resynchronisation therapy for heart failure. 

Dr Sajeev approaches medical care as a partnership between the patient and the clinician. He strives to inform his patients about their medical condition to facilitate shared management decisions.
