Dr Jo-Hua Chen

Dr Jo Chen is a graduate of the University of Sydney and holds a Masters degree in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She was awarded her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2013 and completed her Hepatology and Liver Transplantation Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada in 2016.

Dr Chen provides care for patients in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the digestive and gastro-intestinal tract and liver. She is approachable and seeks clarification with a desire to understand the concerns of her patients'. Her care is empathetic which helps patients’ cope effectively with diagnosis and their illness. There are no long waiting times for appointments; also, she welcomes contact from General Practitioners for urgent patients who need to be seen promptly.
