Dr Jonathan Hunter

Dr Jonathan Hunter graduated in medicine from Kings College Medical School, London in 2000. He worked initially for 6 years in the National Health Service, obtaining critical care and acute medical experience, whilst gaining MRCP qualifications. He emigrated to Australia in 2006 where he has resided on the Redcliffe Peninsula with his young family. Dr Hunter is locally trained, working at Peninsula Private Hospital, Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital, North West Private Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, Caboolture Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital.

Dr Hunter has post fellowship training in Echocardiography at the Prince Charles Hospital echocardiography unit. Granted FRACP in 2014, Dr Hunter obtained a consultant post in Internal Medicine at Redcliffe Public Hospital, with a particular interest in acute/diagnostic medicine and echocardiography. In addition to publishing numerous cardiology research abstracts at conference, Dr Hunter has contributed 12 peer reviewed publications and maintains active participation in clinical medical trials and echocardiography research.
