Dr Jonathan Negus

With his career dedicated to all aspects of knee surgery, including sports surgery and joint replacement, Dr Negus has developed a surgical interest in computer assisted and robotic surgery. His clinical and research focus is on optimising patients’ outcomes through a detailed approach to non-op and pre-op exercise therapies as well as bespoke post-operative recovery and rehabilitation programs. 

Dr Negus has been awarded higher degrees from the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and a PhD from the University of Sydney. He has worked and trained both in Sydney and in London, with visitations and fellowships across the United Kingdom and Europe to enhance his specialist training. His regular teaching engagements at the University of Sydney, working with junior medical officers, allied health staff and medical students, offer welcome opportunities to pass on his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for his chosen field. He also uses his academic training to supervise MD students as part of his role as a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.
