Dr Morton studied Medicine at the University of Melbourne, completing his cardiology training at the Austin Hospital. He completed a PhD in the Department of Cardiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and undertook a postdoctoral clinical fellowship at the Loyola University medical Centre in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr Morton performs pacemaker and defibrillator device insertions and complex ablation procedures for recurrent arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. He is happy to see both public and private patients to streamline their care.
Dr Morton's main research interests are in atrial fibrillation ablation, prevention of sudden cardiac death, investigation of syncope and ablation of ventricular tachycardia.
