Dr Josephine Mckeown

Dr. Josephine McKeown is a psychiatrist who focusses on adolescent and youth psychiatry and generally sees young people between 12 and 25 years of age and also provides support for families and carers.

Dr McKeown sees young people with a number of psychiatric disorders including Psychosis, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Affective Disorder, OCD, Eating Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Personality Disorder and Learning Disorders.

Dr McKeown has worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Orygen Youth Health and Clarendal Medical Centre. Dr McKeown graduated as a medical practitioner from Monash University in 1986 and has worked in both public hospitals and general practice prior to training as a psychiatrist.
