Dr Julian Yu is accredited as a Surgeon of Excellence at Northern Beaches Hospital’s Centre of Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Having graduated from Medicine at the University of Newcastle in 2006, Julian completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney. As one of the youngest in his year, he further undertook 2 years of advanced training in hip and knee surgery in Edinburgh, UK, Lyon, France and Sydney.

Julian is currently one of the early adopters of the technologically advanced Robotic Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery and is able to offer this technology to suitable patients. He also performs the latest surgical techniques in arthroscopic knee surgery including muscle preserving and minimally invasive ACL reconstruction surgery.
