Dr Justin Evans

Dr Justin Evans is a highly experienced colorectal surgeon. He graduated from Medical School at the University of Sydney in 1992. He trained in general surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney and qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1998. He undertook further advanced training in colorectal surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and then at the University of Toronto in Canada. Justin is a Fellow of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has particular expertise and extensive experience in laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, transanal endoscopic microsurgery, TAMIS and taTME surgery.

Justin consults in private rooms in St Leonards and Dee Why. He is an active participant in the multi-disciplinary care of patients with colorectal cancer across Northern Sydney. He is committed to providing the highest standard of care to all patients. James contributes to the BiNational Colorectal Cancer Audit which promotes regular review and benchmarking of surgical outcomes. He has served as Chair of Department at several facilities in Northern Sydney and has chaired local surgical audit meetings for more than a decade.
