Dr Kenneth Yong

Dr. Yong is a current Visiting Medical Officer at Prince Of Wales Private Hospital. He is also a staff specialist transplant nephrologist and director of Kidney Supportive Care Services at Prince Of Wales Public Hospital.

He obtained his undergraduate MBBS at the University of Western Australia. He completed his Nephrology training at Westmead Hospital (Sydney). He was also awarded a Doctor Of Philosophy (PhD) with the University of Western Australia and has multiple 1^st author original research publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He currently also holds a conjoint senior lecturer position with the University Of New South Wales and maintains an active role in teaching and research.

His main clinical and research interests are kidney transplantation and cardiovascular medicine in chronic kidney disease patients. He also has expertise in a wide range of general medical and nephrology areas including electrolyte disorders, hypertension and acute kidney injury.
