Dr Kim Bade is a Bariatric and Upper Gastrointestinal surgeon originally from Darwin, and after his training and fellowships interstate, Kim moved back to Darwin in 2022 where he consults privately at Darwin Private Hospital and is appointed publicly at Royal Darwin Hospital.
He completed his medical training through Flinders University in Adelaide and then his general surgical training in Western Australia. After obtaining his general surgical fellowship in 2019 he completed 2 years post-fellowship training in bariatric, gastric, oesophageal and pancreatic surgery at Joondalup Health Campus (State Bariatric Service of Western Australia) and Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital in Perth (Upper GI, Bariatric and Pancreatic Unit).
