Dr Ken Tan

Dr Ken Tan is a Gastroenterologist at Knox Private Hospital.

Dr Tan trained at the University of Adelaide in 1998 and obtained further advanced training in gastroenterology and internal medicine at Wellington and Auckland hospitals in new Zealand 2009. He pursued endoscopy fellowship at the Western hospital, Melbourne where he gained expertise in advanced endoscopy procedures.

Expertise:

• Hepatology – Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C

• Endoscopy Procedures – Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and Pill Cam Endoscopy

His expertise encompasses treatment of viral hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastrointestinal malignancy.

He has particular interest in Endoscopy procedures and Pill Cam Endoscopy for evaluation of small bowel.

Dr Tan speaks Mandarin and Hokkien.
