Dr Kumanan Nalankilli

He obtained his primary medical degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and completed advanced training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at major public hospitals in Melbourne including Western Health and the Alfred Hospital.

Kumanan then completed three further years of post-fellowship training in a broad range of advanced endoscopy procedures, and has expertise in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), EMR (Endoscopic Mucosal Resection), capsule endoscopy and balloon-assisted enteroscopy.

Kumanan has academic interests in quality in endoscopy and believes in working collaboratively with patients and multi-disciplinary colleagues to facilitate evidence-based care and best outcomes.
