Dr Leila Foroughinia

Dr Leila Foroughinia, a caring and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is able to safely manage both low and high-risk pregnancies and also general gynaecology conditions. With over a decade experience in this field, she uses evidence-based medicine to tailor the treatment to suit each individual’s or couple’s unique situation and is respectful to the individual patient’s preferences, needs and values.

She is actively involved in supervising specialist trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and medical students, and is also a voluntary examiner for Monash University medical students.

Leila attends conferences and workshops regularly to remain up to date with the latest research.

 Leila has a public appointment with Eastern Health (Box Hill Hospital & Angliss Hospital and Blackburn Hospital) and in private practice Leila provides her services to the eastern suburbs community.

Leila is married with two children. As a mother herself, she understands the stresses and challenges of pregnancy, so is very familiar with the needs of her patients.

When Leila is not working, she enjoys cooking, gardening and travelling.
