Dr Ljiljana Miljkovic-Petkovic

Dr Ljiljana Miljkovic-Petkovic is a highly experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist who is passionate about providing the highest level of care in a personalised and compassionate manner. Dr Miljkovic-Petkovic gained her Dr Med, advanced training and PhD at the University of Belgrade, Serbia and practised in Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia and Switzerland before moving to New Zealand in 1996 and then to Australia in 1999. She settled with her family in Newcastle in February 1999 where she has been practising to date. Dr Miljkovic-Petkovic established full time private practice in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in January 2004. Dr Miljkovic-Petkovic has appointments at Newcastle Private Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, Maitland Private Hospital and Lingard Hospital. To keep abreast of changes and advancements in her field Ljiljana is a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG), a member of AGES (Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society), ASUM (Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine) and AMA (Australian Medical Association).
