Dr Louise Ciin

Dr Ciin did her basic and advanced medical training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General/Acute Medicine in the United Kingdom (UK). She obtained full registration with the General Medical Council and practised as in the UK, before moving to Darwin in 2010.

After moving to the Gold Coast in 2014, Dr Ciin has been practising from her private rooms in Southport and working part-time as a staff specialist endocrinologist at the Gold Coast University Hospital. Dr Ciin is a senior lecturer at Griffith University and involved in the teaching of Medical Students. She also serves as a principal investigator at the clinical trial unit at Griffith University and conducts research into diabetes and obesity.

Dr Ciin has extensive knowledge and experience in the management of various endocrinology and diabetes-related problems from her practice in the UK, Darwin and Gold Coast. She has been working alongside obstetricians on the Gold Coast treating pregnant women with various diabetes, endocrine and medical problems.

Dr Ciin keeps a couple of slots every week for those who need to be seen urgently.
