Dr Madhawa (Mudy) De Silva is a medical oncologist interested in managing patients with gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. He completed his medical degree at the Australian National University, Canberra, in 2013. He then completed Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Medical Oncology at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021.
Dr De Silva has worked as a Clinical Trials Fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital and Genesis Care. He is a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Northern Beaches Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital, and locum medical oncologist at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Dr De Silva is actively involved in clinical and laboratory research and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring aspects of immunogenic cell death in gastrointestinal malignancies (University of Sydney).
