Dr Manoj Mathew is a Queensland trained orthopaedic Surgeon. Prior to moving to Australia, he had trained in Orthopaedics at one of India’s premier National Institutes (PGIMER). In Australia, he undertook the full 5-year Australian Orthopaedic training programme with training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital, Cairns Base Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital. After obtaining his Australian fellowship (FRACS) he travelled to Canada to undertake a year of advanced surgical training at the renowned Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Centre (University of Western Ontario, Canada), focussing on the treatment of joint and ligament injuries including that of high-level varsity and national athletes. The Training included advanced techniques in the treatment of Sports injuries, joint cartilage surgeries, ligament reconstruction surgeries and joint preservation procedures.
He currently holds public appointments at the Prince Charles Hospital and Logan Hospital.
