Dr Marjan Ghadiri

Dr Marjan (Jane) Ghadiri is a General, Upper GI and Bariatric Surgeon recently relocated to Brisbane and commencing practice at Brisbane
Private Hospital. Originally a University of Queensland medical graduate in 1997, she completed her General Surgical training at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne in 2010. Her post-fellowship training in Upper Gastrointestinal and Obesity surgery at Monash Medical Centre paved the way for her ongoing clinical interest in this area.  She has been an active and valued member of staff at Monash Health and Epworth Health until her recent relocation.

Jane balances being a mother of two with a busy clinical practice and a love of teaching.  She is an adjunct lecturer at Monash University and an active member of faculty on a number of RACS (Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) courses. She is also a keen endoscopist and performs both upper and lower GI endoscopy as well as interventional endoscopy.
