Prof Michael Friedlander

Michael Friedlander is conjoint Professor of Medicine at the University of NSW and a medical oncologist at the Prince of Wales Hospital and Royal Hospital for Women. He has a broad range of research interests with a focus on clinical trials for women with breast and gynaecologic cancers as well as incorporating patient reported outcomes as endpoints into clinical trials. Over the course of his career, he has had a leading role in gynaecological cancer clinical trials nationally and internationally. He has held many leadership positions including inaugural chair of ANZGOG and Past President of the IGCS. He has received numerous awards in recognition of his contribution to research and treatment of women with breast and gynaecological cancers.
