A/Prof Das is a General Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist (medical doctor) with over 25 years of experience as a psychiatrist. He has a sensitive, emphatic and a patient-centred approach to treatment, taking into consideration the individual needs and circumstances of a client. He provides a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment of patients for a range of psychiatric disorders or mental health issues.
A/Prof Das has trained as a specialist psychiatrist in Australia and the United Kingdom.
He moved to Australia from the United Kingdom in 2016 and works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in NT Health.
A/Prof Das has 14 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in West London Mental Health Trust and was a Training Programme Director at the Oxford School of Psychiatry, United Kingdom. He was also a Specialist Professional Advisor to the Care Quality Commission, United Kingdom. He was awarded 6 Clinical Excellence Awards as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the National Health Service, England.
