Dr Murali Komala is a Consultant Nephrologist. He completed his Physician training through the Royal Prince Alfred Network, Sydney and subsequently trained in Renal Medicine through Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore, Wollongong and Liverpool Hospitals.
Dr Komala has experience in all aspects of renal medicine including hypertension, acute kidney injury, dialysis and transplantation. He has a particular clinical interest in chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, interventional nephrology and pregnancy related medical complications.
He has a keen interest in research and is currently completing his PhD at Sydney University. He is involved in clinical research at the Nepean Hospital and has published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals. He is actively involved in academic work at Nepean Clinical School associated with Sydney University.
Dr Komala provides Consultative Nephrology services with the aim of providing comprehensive care for patients with renal disease and hypertension.
