Dr Nelson Gonzalez

Dr Nelson Gonzalez is an Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist with more than a decade of experience in woman’s health. He provides a holistic approach to women’s care that evolves around their individual needs and expectations. His main interests are general and high risk obstetrics, as
well as advanced gynaecological endoscopic surgery. Pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence are some of the conditions usually managed by Dr Gonzalez. He also offers a broad range of office gynaecology services such as management of
abnormal cervical screening, and long-term contraception.

Dr Gonzalez is a medical graduate from the University of Queensland Medical School, and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He is also a member of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery society. His career draws experience from a number of Queensland hospitals. Formative years were dedicated to the service of Logan, Bundaberg and Redlands Hospitals, while advanced training was carried out at Mater Mother’s and Gold Coast University Hospitals. Dr Gonzalez still maintains a close
association with Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals.
