Dr Neroli Ngenda

Dr Neroli Ngenda is a specialist Gynaecologist. She studied and trained locally in Brisbane, graduating from the University of Queensland followed by training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. During her period of training she also spent some time with the Flying O & G service and at QEII Hospital. Dr Ngenda is a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Queensland and has a certificate in Reproductive Medicine from the UNSW.

She has maintained a private practice at Sunnybank Private Hospital since 2002. Dr Ngenda is passionate about women’s health and committed to providing high quality service and personalised care.

Dr Ngenda has a special interest in vulval disease. This includes skin conditions such as vulvar dermatitis, Candidiasis, lichen sclerosis, lichen planus; and also vulvodynia. She sees patients privately in this regard and established the Vulval Clinic at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Vulvovaginal Society and regularly attends both local and international meetings in this area of expertise.

She also has a particular interest in infertility, offering services through the Sunnybank branch of City Fertility Clinic where she is an associate doctor. Dr Ngenda has completed postgraduate training in laparoscopic surgery and performs laparoscopic adnexal surgery including the following: ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cystectomy, oophorectomy and salpingectomy.
