Dr Nevine Te West

Dr Nevine te West is a Urogynaecologist servicing the Northern Beaches and North Shore focusing on pelvic floor medicine and reconstructive surgery who provides a holistic approach for pelvic floor disorders, including prolapse, urinary incontinence and childbirth injuries and offers a wide range of investigations, such as urodynamics. Dr te West also has expertise in laparoscopic urogynae surgery, and general gynaecological problems, such as menstrual disorders, menopause and ovarian cysts. She also offers vNOTES hysterectomy with minimal scarring, reduced pain and shorter recovery period. Dr te West brings a wealth of international experience to her practice having initially trained in the UK and the Netherlands and undertaking further training in Australia under Prof Kate Moore and A/Prof Emmanuel Karantanis at St George Hospital, Sydney.

Taking a holistic approach to patient care, Dr te West is strongly focused on exploring conservative treatment prior to embarking on surgery when appropriate. Dr te West is currently completing a PhD with the University of New South Wales focusing on the role of estrogen in female stress urinary incontinence. She has won a number of prizes for her research, both nationally and internationally.
