Dr Nima Rudd is a Consultant Cardiologist, Interventional and Pacing expert who has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years.
He performs coronary and graft angiography (radial & femoral access) and implants permanent pacemakers , defibrillators and loop recorders at Knox Private Hospital.
He completed his cardiology training at The Alfred Hospital and has extensive experience in all aspects of cardiology.
Dr Rudd has been actively involved in research and clinical trials and has a significant research background with numerous scientific presentations, abstracts and publications. He worked as a cardiology research fellow at The Northern Hospital and coordinated numerous cardiovascular clinical trials.
Dr Rudd has been committed to educating junior doctors, medical students and other health professionals on a regular basis and has been senior clinical lecturer at the University of Melbourne since 2014.
Dr Rudd has extensive experience in all aspects of cardiology including:
coronary artery disease ,
Valvular heart disease ,
arrhythmia and advanced heart failure requiring home inotropes,
left and right ventricular assist devices, and
management of cardiac transplant patients.
