Dr Nisha Thiagarajah is a hematologist who obtained her medical degree at the University of Newcastle, UK and completed her further FRACP and FRCPA training at major tertiary hospitals in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia.
Nisha undertook a Fellowship in Acute leukemia and Myelodysplastic syndromes at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital from 2019 - 2021. This clinical and research position focused on the management of Phase 1-3 clinical trials using experimental and novel therapies.
Nisha has a particular clinical interest in acute leukaemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms and bone marrow failure syndromes. She has expertise and broad experience in treating a range of benign and malignant hematological conditions and together with her colleagues, Nisha is dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Nisha is currently working on publishing in in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Thiagarajah speaks fluent Malay.
