A/Prof Patricia Hullah

A/Prof Hullah is an experienced consultant specialist in respiratory and sleep medicine.  She obtained undergraduate degrees in both Applied Science and Medicine from the University of Sydney, graduating with Honours from Medicine in 2004.  She trained in respiratory and sleep medicine at Royal North Shore and Concord Hospitals.  She has worked at Northern Beaches Hospital since it opened in 2018. 

She has an interest in obstructive sleep apnoea, obstructive airways disease (COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis), interstitial lung disease and lung cancer.  A/Prof Hullah has completed research on diagnostic methods in sleep disordered breathing, pulmonary embolism, symptom management and psychosocial impacts on health.  

A/Prof Hullah works as a medical academic for Macquarie University and is Head of Northern Beaches Clinical School.  She has a strong interest in medical education and training of junior doctors.  She is a local examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.  She is Chair of Grand Rounds at Northern Beaches Hospital. 

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and an executive member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.
