Paul works with trusted colleagues who review all surgical patients on a daily basis providing supporting medical expertise and guidance.
Paul is a super-specialist hip and knee replacement surgeon. He is the only surgeon in Tasmania performing robot-assisted total hip replacements using a minimally invasive direct anterior approach incorporating spino-pelvic motion analysis for optimal component positioning. Paul also performs robot-assisted total and partial knee replacement surgery as well as revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
In addition, Paul performs both metal and ceramic hip resurfacing using state of the art Patient Specific Instrumentation, particularly suited to the younger, very active patient with hip arthritis with high functional demands who wish to remain very active post surgery. Paul is also the only surgeon offering radiofrequency ablation for both hip and knee arthritis as well as trochanteric bursitis (hip inflammation).
Paul has a welcoming state-of-the-art orthopaedic consulting suite in downtown Hobart with ample parking nearby and easy ground floor patient access.
