Dr Peey Sei Kok is a medical oncologist at Prince of Wales Hospital and Suite 20, Prince of Wales Private Hospital. Her interests are in genitourinary (prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular), breast and thoracic (lung) cancers. She has a strong focus in multidisciplinary cancer care and evidence-based medicine.
She is also a research fellow at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney and a conjoint lecturer at University of New South Wales. She is committed to ongoing research particularly in clinical trial research. She completed her PhD (University of Sydney) in 2023, which focused on validation of surrogate endpoints in immune- and targeted therapy trials.
She completed her medical training- MB BCh BAO and BSc (hons) in University College Dublin, Ireland in 2007 and medical oncology training in Sydney in 2016. She was awarded Masters in Clinical Trials Research at University of Sydney in 2017.
Dr Kok has 19 peer-reviewed publications to date, including Lancet Oncology, JAMA Network Open and Lung Cancer. She is a key investigator in multiple national and international trials, particularly in small cell carcinoma, mesothelioma and endometrial cancers.
