Dr Perry Short

Dr Perry Short has over twenty years experience in medical practice. He was originally in private practice in primary care. He subsequently specialised in Psychiatry, practising in General Adult Psychiatry with a focus on Forensics.

Dr Short is an Honorary with The University of Melbourne with involvement in research and education at the Professorial Unit. He is also a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Professorial Unit of The Melbourne Clinic.

His interests include assessing and managing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, ADHD and problems associated with substance abuse. He also consults in short and long term psychotherapy.

Because of his Forensic background, he is interested in medico-legal practice, both criminal and civil. We currently have inpatient suites available for patients who require urgent admission and welcome your enquiries.

Dr Short is available to manage patients both as in- and out-patients at The Melbourne Clinic.
