Dr Poh See Choo

After completing her MBBS degree at the University of Queensland in 1991, Dr Poh See Choo decided to take up the challenge in the rapidly expanding world of medical oncology. She spent three years training at the Mater Adult Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital where multiple multidisciplinary clinics including Gynaecologic-oncology, Head and Neck, breast and GI clinics were conducted with teams of surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists.

She has also worked in the Haematology and bone marrow transplant unit at RBH.  After six years working as a VMO at the Mater Public Hospital and part-time private practice, she is now working as a private Medical Oncologist.  She manages all tumour types as she likes the challenge of all tumour types but has a particular clinical interest in colorectal and breast cancer.  She feels privileged to be able to help her patients with their treatments and overall management.
