Dr Pooi Leng Lee

Dr Lee provides a caring and personalised service to all her patients. She will work together with you to devise a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Dr Lee graduated with an honours medical degree from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland in June 2002. She completed her internship at one of the largest tertiary teaching hospital in Dublin (Adelaide and Meath Hospital) before moving to Australia in late 2003.

Dr Lee commenced her O&G specialist training in 2007 which she completed successfully in 2013. During her extensive training in Queensland, Dr Lee has worked at Logan Hospital, Mater Mother’s Hospital and Rockhampton Hospital. Dr Lee started her private practice at Sunnybank Private Hospital in 2013. Dr Lee is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

Dr Lee provides Gynaecological Services, which include management of menstrual disorders, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), ovarian cyst, endometriosis, laparoscopic surgery, pelvic pain, abnormal cervical screening, incontinence and prolapse, and management of menopause.

Dr Lee also provides fertility care and management for infertility problems, including ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) and IVF.

Dr Lee holds a special interest in minimal invasive gynaecological surgery and performs advanced laparoscopic (key-hole) surgeries for benign gynaecological conditions.

Dr Lee is a caring individual; she will support and guide you through every step of your journey. She prides herself on providing the highest standard of care in a non-judgemental way in order to achieve the best outcome for her patients 

As a doctor, Dr Lee has a unique perspective coming from a multicultural background. Born and raised in Malaysia; she understands the needs of different cultures.
