Dr Pragnesh Joshi

Dr Pragnesh Joshi is a cardiothoracic surgeon with extensive experience in Australia and overseas. He focusses on all types of heart surgery with a particular clinical interest in beating heart surgery and minimally invasive heart and lung surgeries. Dr Joshi obtained additional qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Mumbai University, India in 2002.

He worked as a Fellow & Senior Registrar at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane (’04-’07) and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Nedlands (’11-current) prior to obtaining Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Mr Joshi gained substantial exposure to minimally invasive valve surgery at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane and also spent some time at Heart Centre Leipzig, Germany.

He is an extremely proficient surgeon for beating heart bypass surgery.
