Dr Rakesh Arora

Dr Arora is a senior Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 25 years’ experience in Orthopaedic surgery.

Dr Arora is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Orthopaedic surgery, as well as of Australian Orthopaedic Association. He holds a Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Trauma from Royal Melbourne Hospital and from Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. He is also a Certified Independent Medical Examiner.

Dr Arora is proficient in a wide range of Orthopaedic disorders of upper and lower limb including hand, foot and ankle and peripheral nerve entrapments. He specializes and has advanced training in Primary / Revision Hip and Knee joint replacements, Orthopaedic Trauma, limb lengthening and deformity correction.

Dr Arora has been actively involved in research and is a member of various National and International Orthopaedic societies. He is trained and has special interest in Computer Navigated Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and Robotic assisted Arthroplasty.

In indicated patients he also uses Patient Specific Implants (PSI) and alternative options for those with implant metal allergies.
