A/Prof Ranil Gunewardene

Associate Professor Ranil Gunewardene is the Clinical Director of Northern Beaches Mental Health Service since its inception in October 2018. Previously, he was the Clinical Director of Mosman Private Hospital and the Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Mental Health Services for 14 years.

He has extensive experience in both public and private sectors of mental health, having worked in the Northern Sydney Local Health District since 2000. Associate Professor Gunewardene provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment services, primarily for depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders.
