Dr Renata Abraszko is an internationally trained neurosurgeon and performs both neurosurgery and spine surgery. Dr Abraszko undertook her medical training in Poland, graduating with Honours. She subsequently completed her specialist neurosurgical training in Poland and Germany, passing the European Exam in Neurosurgery in 1994, the same year she completed her PhD thesis on the subject of severe head injuries.
In 1995 Dr Abraszko travelled to Australia and commenced research at Westmead Hospital. She moved permanently to Australia in 1999 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian college of Surgeons (FRACS) in Neurosurgery in 2004.
