A/Prof Parkinson is a neurosurgeon at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. He is a highly qualified and fellowship trained spinal and neurointerventional neurosurgeon who trained extensively both here and in the US. A/Prof Parkinson’s particular areas of focus include physical rehabilitation in professional athletes, spinal care and rehabilitation in high functioning military personnel and neurosurgical care of remote and indigenous people.

A/Prof Parkinson also has a particular interest in sports injuries and the treatment of spinal injuries as they pertain to sport injury and has one of Australia’s largest series of Percutaneous Spinal Fusion surgery.
