Dr Rila Deen

Dr Rila Deen is an Australian-trained general adult psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal 
Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry. He has extensive experience in 
various clinical settings in both the public and private sectors including acute mental 
health units, community services, rehabilitation, consultation and liaison psychiatry, 
alcohol and drugs, early psychosis intervention and emergency psychiatry.

Dr Deen’s care provision is drawn on a holistic treatment approach that is consistent with recovery 
oriented, patient-centred, family inclusive care, in consideration with the patient’s social and 
cultural network. He works closely with GPs and Allied Health professionals to bring the best 
possible outcome in treatment and recovery of people with mental illness.
